This morning in chapel we watched this youtube clip of the brothers and sisters of special needs children. This was part of our Disability Awareness Week programme in the Senior School.
Denis matriculated in 1968 from SJMC. At the age of 23 he lost the use of both his hands and has a slight speech impediment. Today he is happily married and and is very active and involved in his community. He uses his mouth to write, and did a demonstration for the High School.
His central message was: "If plan A does not work there is always plan B." On Friday we celebrated the 15th Anniversary of the Special Needs Unit.
It has been 15 years filled with love, amazing students, supportive families, creative staff and Blessings from God above. Here are some interactive games you can play at home.
