Thank you Giraffe House for having us - we had a great time!
Our learners had a wonderful experience viewing all the different animals and birds. The highlight of our visit was definitely the reptile presentation where Clare held a tarantula, Chloe kissed a frog, Meshach held a bearded dragon and all the learners had an opportunity to touch both a corn snake and a burmese python.

Our SJMC Special Need Unit were given a wonderful opportunity to experience Virgin Active in Century City.
The morning began with a health assessment on the InBody machine where they were assisted by Shan the biokineticist. We were taken on a tour around the gym by Chanel, who showed us the pool, changing rooms and special exercise machines. After this we were taken into a studio for some functional training. Our classes were split into small groups and assisted by the personal fitness trainers; Corne, Jaco and Fernando. Thank you for the fun experience, exercises and packs that we received. All your staff made us feel so welcome. A special thank you to Chanel Louw and Paargen Pillay for organising this event and to the club manager Stephane Malan for affording our learners this amazing opportunity. Thank you Virgin Active! Our learners loved their time visiting your gym and keep asking if we can replace our PE sessions with gym classes at Virgin Active. Today our students participated in Mass with beautiful readings, prayers and singing. Autism Information

Today in food skills we washed, cut, chopped, diced and peeled vegetables. Together with a little oil and a sprig of rosemary, we roasted our mixed vegetables for an hour.
It was definitely well worth the wait! Our Headmaster and Head Students awarded our students with Recycling Badges in recognition of the dedication and hard work that they do in the school.
