Congratulations Ian Sutton!
Ian Sutton met the learners in the Special Needs Unit years ago when he came to watch one of their end of year plays. He loved what he saw and enjoyed the interaction with our learners. He wanted to help raise funds for the Unit by doing an open water swim. We are proud to say that a few days ago he completed his swim from Robben Island to Blouberg in 2hrs26min with water temperatures peaking at 13 degrees. On behalf of the Special Needs Unit at SJMC we would like to thank you for this wonderful initiative. Our day started with an outdoor mass for the whole school. Thank you Br Joe for such a beautiful homily.
Well done to our learners for their presentation of their predator fact card. It was lovely to learn about the different predators spoken about. Such lovely pictures!
